Robert Rogers Equestrian, LLC provides Equine CranioSacral™ (ECS) therapy to equines in the US and abroad. Equine CranioSacral™ (ECS) work is a holistic healing practice, which uses extremely light finger pressure to optimize body movement. When applied correctly, this gentle and subtle technique can be highly effective in addressing a number of conditions in the horse.
Robert Rogers Equestrian, LLC's (RRE) works with high performance horses who compete in dressage, hunter/jumpers, show jumping, eventing, racing and vaulting. RRE's client's horses compete at the local level through the WEG/World Championship/Olympic level.
In performance horses ECS therapy can keep the equine athlete at their best by reducing the potential stress damage caused by the training and competition. High performance horses too often are forced to retire from injuries that could have been prevented with regular ECS work. ECS therapy can also benefit horses that have issues from head trauma's, hind injuries, headshaking, lameness, Temporal Mandibular Joint (TMJ) Dysfunction, and emotional problems. .
Robert spent his early childhood around horses. His mother was a Horsemaster certified rider. He spent many years in 4-H and working on his family's ranch. As he began his career in high tech he fell away from the horse part of his life. He worked in Silicon Valley with many of the well known tech companies. Robert has his BSBA from University of Redlands.
In the early 90's he returned to his love of working with horses. He began riding again in the dressage, and hunter/jumper disciplines. His daughters quickly followed in his footsteps and became active equestrians. His oldest daughter brought her love of gymnastics and horses together as a vaulter with Mt Eden Vaulting Club. Robert and his daughters remain active equestrian competitiors.
It was through his own search for better techniques to support his horses and maintain their peak performance and comfort that he met Maureen Rogers. Maureen began working on his dressage and hunter horses with Equine CranioSacral™ techniques. Over the years Robert has worked with many chiropracters, vets, body workers, and horse specialists. Maureen's work was the first that made improvements that stayed with the horse. Robert decided to undertake the study of Cranial work for horses. He is one of the few who have taken her most advanced classes along with private tutoring.
